Art Clay UK Conference 2009

The Art Clay UK Conference was held on the beautiful Channel Island of Jersey on 1st to 4th October 2009. Highlights included the launch of Art Clay Copper Clay and Art Clay Lite.

The competition pieces this year were outstanding and really show the skills of the metal clay artists. Congratulations to Joy Funnell and Pat Waddington who won first prize for their earrings and bracelet respectively.

Katie Baum came over from the Art Clay Society and ran a number of workshops. Output from the various hands on workshops was fantastic and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Linda Cheyney stood down as chair of the Art Clay UK Guild and Emma Baird was elected to this position. We look forward to next year's conference.
