The Metal Clay Academy Advisory Board

The Advisory Board of the Metal Clay Academy consists of a select group of metal clay artists and teachers. Their role is to have input to specific projects relevant to the mission and objectives of the Academy.

The current Advisory Board members are:-

Tonya Davidson

Tonya became a certified artisan of Art Clay in 1999 and a Senior Instructor for Art Clay in 2000. She is a Senior Instructor for the Rio Grande Rewards Program.

Celie Fago

Celie Fago has been a professional artist and writer for 35 years. She is highly regarded as a generous teacher and as an innovator in the combination of PMC, polymer clay and metalsmithing and is a Senior Instructor for the Rio Grande Rewards Program.

Sue Heaser

Sue was the first Art Clay Senior Instructor to qualify in the UK. She has written several books and teaches polymer clay and metal clay workshops.


Jeanette Landenwitch - Masters Registry II

Jeanette began working with Precious Metal Clay in 1999 and since then she has worked extensively with the medium and it has become her main focus. She is a Senior PMC Instructor and teaches classes and workshops.

Jackie Truty

Jackie has a background in fused glass and received her Art Clay Master's training in Japan. She trains Art Clay Certification classes and runs Art Clay World, USA, Inc.


Gordon K Uyehara

Gordon is a freelance artist/designer and an Art Clay Silver Senior Instructor. Gordon actively participates in local, national, and international juried exhibitions.

Petra Wennberg

Petra set up the first UK online shop and studio to focus solely on Art Clay. She is an Art Clay Silver Senior Instructor.
