All sorts of free fonts. If you're looking for specific types of text, it's probably here. This site includes fonts that are pictorial so you can get hieroglyphics, pictograms, flowers and lots more. Well worth browsing.

Dover Publications

Dover publish design books which have royalty free images from a wide variety of sources. These include North American Indian, Celtic, Viking, Fantasy, Chinese, Japanese, medieval, animals, birds, sealife, floral designs, Egyptian, African....have a look at their website for the full list. Many of these source books have CD's so you can manipulate the pictures and resize them to your requirements. If you sign up on the site you get an email every week with free clip art from their books.

Metal Clay Veneer

The veneer solution is a new product that was invented by Jay Humphreys and launched at the 2004 PMC conference. The veneer solution may be mixed with the various types of metal clay, then applied to a textured substrate. The resulting dried sheet is not changed so far as silver or gold content or in the firing characteristics. This new form of metal clay may be combined with other metal clay items and fired in conjunction with them.

The Scribbler

Well here's a fun thing! I'm not sure I can explain it but basically you draw a picture on the screen, then the Scribbler recreates your drawing in a random way. What they say about it is this...."The Scribbler takes simple vector based input (in the case of the online toy, your drawing) and creates its own drawing on top of it based on a number of simple rules. When a new scribble line is created it chooses a few numbers at random that eventually determine what sort of line it will draw. As it begins to draw it fine tunes those values to the type of drawing that you've made. " Check it out, it's great fun and you could create some really unique textures using photopolymer plates or tear away sheets.
