An update was made to a metal clay group.

Otherwise known as MAGIC had it's inaugural meeting on Sunday, January 15, 2012. 22nd January

A change to a metal clay magazine entry was made.

Metal Clay Today

This online magazine used to be free but from January 2012, they are charging for each full edition or you can sign up for a 12 month subscription. The magazine originally launched on18th September 2009. It features interesting projects, the latest products and the newest techniques.  It offers information on competitions, awards, societies, guilds, shows, fairs and trade shows. In each issue it will spotlight an established artist, a new “Rising Star” and many articles on working with our favorite medium, Metal Clay.

21st January

A new metal clay related competition has been added.

Bead Dreams 2012

Each year, Bead&Button magazine sponsors Bead Dreams, a juried competition of exceptional bead artistry from around the world.  They display the accepted pieces at the Bead&Button Show and award ribbons in nine categories.

The deadline for Bead Dreams 2012 is March 6th, 2012.

20th January

PMC Studio France - France

PMC Studio France specialise in learning holidays offering a variety of courses ranging from three days to two weeks. For example the three days may involve learning how to make fingerprint jewellery and personalised jewellery with time left to enjoy the pool as well as a glass of French wine or two! Those coming on a weeks holiday may wish to complete an introductory course and one of the certification modules of their choice. Other choices include working with bronze and copper. These are fully catered holidays with plenty of French cuisine and indulgence if you so wish. Partners are also welcome for a moderate supplement and are free to see the sites whilst you learn.
