Artful Home

Artful Home is the leading source for artist-made home décor, gifts, and jewelry shipped direct from artists’ studios to customers’ homes. North American artists only. Artists are required to submit a resumé, images, and descriptions of all their work. Artful Home collect these applications monthly and then present all of these materials to their Artistic Advisory Panel. Acceptance is no easy feat; only a fraction of the artists who apply are accepted into the collection. For those who are accepted, their work is presented to a national audience. Once an artist has been juried on, their artwork specialists and editorial writers build each artist page, adding names to their rich roster of talented artists.

This listing and sales site looks clean and fresh and is easy to use and navigate. The team at Bonanza say, “We have the kinds of things that you can’t find mass produced and sold on Amazon. eCRATER is both a free web store builder and an online marketplace. If you are a seller you can create your own free online store in minutes.

Etsy

Specialises in hand made work, craft supplies or vintage goods. Shops are free to set up and there is no set up fee. You pay fees when you sell your metal clay work.

Ferrers Gallery

This gallery exhibits the work of British artists. They also run classes for makers and have a mentoring programme.

Folksy

UK site similar to Etsy. Allows you to create an online shop and sell your metal clay work. It costs 20p to list an item on Folksy and they charge 5% commission on all sales (this is taken from the list price and is not charged on postage too). If you don’t sell an item you are only charged for the listing fee.
